I had a very positive experience with my colonoscopy from start to finish. Dr Chand was extremely informative both before and after the procedure, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions, which really helped put me at ease. The entire staff was wonderful—from check-in, to prep, anesthesiology, and recovery. Doesn't even rate a star. This doctor never spent more than 60 seconds with me. Never asked me some very important questions that could have been instrumental in treating me. Didn't schedule any follow up appointments, I had to ask to see him. I had to do research and ask for different tests for him to run. Office is very unorganized. He suggested nothing other than a colonoscopy which I told him for personal reasons, I decline. My symptoms were never treated and I am still in excruciating pain. I received a call from his practice today telling me he was referring me to a GI psychiatrist and he couldn't help me. His specialty is GI and he can't help me? Horrible doctor and horrible experience.

From my first visit seeing Dr. Colvin years and years ago now, I consider myself so fortunate that I switched to seeing him as my gastroenterologist. From office visits, to colonoscopies every two years, I could not ask for a better MD. He takes his time with you, and provides compassionate care. He literally saved my colon, as a previous gastro suggested the best course of action would be to remove it. We were not on the same page. I am happy to say I still have my colon intact and it is thanks to Dr. Colvin. TMI? Maybe.

Because my last Dr retired since the last procedure I had not met Dr. Greenan ahead of time and was skeptical to trust someone I hadn't even had a conversation with yet. He appears much younger than most Dr's I have which is a welcome sign to me. He listened to my history and was attentive to what I shared ahead of the procedure. Following it, he addressed my concerns directly and provided excellent documentation of what was performed and the next steps. He gave me time and acknowledged what was important to me without minimizing my questions and concerns. With more experience and consistency with Dr. Greenan, I will have higher confidence to score 5 stars. He did not do anything wrong to earn 4/5.

Your prep team was great. They were friendly, professional and informative and made sure I was comfortable. The nurse anesthesiologist was also friendly, informative and professional. Once in the procedure room, the staff informed me what was to happen, you introduced your self and then I was put under. I woke up in the post-procedure that I was prep'd in and was asked how I was doing, I was provided with a drink of choice and my wife was called in. The whole experience was professional and efficient. The best I could hope for.

Upper & (especially) Lower GI diagnosis and treatment can be quite… well… invasive and humbling. After all, it’s not something people like to talk about. But as Elmo from Sesame Street famously proclaimed, “Everybody Poops!”. And it is both comforting and reassuring that Doctor Rothwell and her associates & support staff do make a person feel as comfortable as possible while discussing such a private area. After all, I guess it’s safe for me to say that Doctor Rothwell has been places with me that no other human being has. And, granted, I’d feel awkward and self-conscious if I bumped into her out in public, but in her office setting she manages to allay all my worries and concerns.

During my original visit, Dr. Chand was distant and impersonal. He offered to answer any questions I had about the colonoscopy but given that I didn’t know anything about the process not even what to ask, we barely spoke. However, after the colonoscopy, he was more personal and went over the results and provided more detail than I expected given our first meeting. My suggestion is that Dr. Chand spend at least 5-10 minutes with the patient specifically those coming for the first time explaining what is the process for the procedure and what to expect. Even though those questions could be answered by a nurse or staff, patients want to hear directly from the doctor to feel at ease.

Words cannot describe what a blessing Dr.Chand has been. I feel better than I have in months. From the very first visit he treated me like I was his first priority. I was looking for a new gastroenterologist because my previous one had retired. Dr. Jimoh was highly recommended by my primary physician for his knowledge, bedside manner, attention to detail and responsiveness. I could not have been happier with my experience while in Dr. Jimoh’s care. From scheduling through post procedure follow up I could not have asked for better treatment (professionalism, timeliness of information, responsiveness to my questions, etc,) from Dr. Jimoh and his staff. While there are many other gastroenterologists closer to home, I will continue to drive well out of my (>a hour) way to remain in Dr. Jimoh’s care.
