I have complex digestive issues and Dr. Fowler is the only Gastroenterologist that has started to uncover many potential issues. Other Practices have dangerously swept my problems under the rug and they're best answer is "inconclusive" without proper testing being performed. Dr. Fowler is the best and I know full well that he will everything he can to improve my health. Dr. Fowler has been nothing but a true caring gift. If you want the best, see Dr. Fowler!

I was looking for a new gastroenterologist because my previous one had retired. Dr. Jimoh was highly recommended by my primary physician for his knowledge, bedside manner, attention to detail and responsiveness. I could not have been happier with my experience while in Dr. Jimoh’s care. From scheduling through post procedure follow up I could not have asked for better treatment (professionalism, timeliness of information, responsiveness to my questions, etc,) from Dr. Jimoh and his staff. While there are many other gastroenterologists closer to home, I will continue to drive well out of my (>a hour) way to remain in Dr. Jimoh’s care.

Met with Dr Portwood to discuss the colonoscopy and procedure. He was very thorough in discussing my previous procedures and need for every 5 years. The morning of the colonoscopy I arrived early and was taken back immediately. The procedure was completed quickly and I was in recovery just as had been described. The most efficiently ran procedure that I ever had. I arrived early and after a small amount of paperwork needing to be filled out, I was taken in the back and the process started. I was scheduled for a 8:40 procedure. I arrived an hour early as requested but they were having a power issue and repairs were being made. They explained the situation and stated that "Dr. Chand wanted to get every one in since you went through the prep". We were given the option of rescheduling or waiting. We were given updates on the repair progress and they began taking patients back around 10:30 or 11:00. The staff was apologetic, efficient, and professional during this process. Even though it was a long day I was very satisfied with how it was handled.

My second procedure in 22 years . 12/02/2024 went in for consultation , check in was very professional . Each associate was very helpful . Met with Dr Stephenson , I asked several questions pertaining to the procedure . He's a Doctor who shows compassion the way he directed the answers he gave me . I was convinced to have the procedure take place . 12/31/2024 checked in at 07:40 am . Check in , the young Lady at the window very pleasant , had a smile on her face . When called to the back , the Ladies there showed compassion and a lot of care to my needs as a patient with smiling faces . James came in to introduce himself . When I was rolled back to the room for the procedure , they were two Ladies there , both of them had smiles on their faces said good morning . I remember Dr Stephenson coming in saying good morning and asking me how I was doing , told him I was having a good day . Then James came over to administer the medicine in my arm , the next thing I remember is waking up from where I started with a smiling face looking at me asking how I was doing . I told her it was a good day . I thank each one of you how pleasant and professional each of you were . It's a Blessing to have folks like y'all taking time to each of your patients as you do . Good news after the procedure all was well . Thank you Dr Stephenson God Bless each of you , My Prayer for each of you and your Families this year 2025 will be that God will fill your lives with Joy . Doctor experience good. Initial followup with results from ultrasound good. Doctor requested MRI order just sat unsigned and unsubmitted for a week. Would still be sitting there had I not followed up asking why I had not received a call regarding the MRI scheduling. Disappointedin this piece.

Dr. Deal is abrasive, doesn't listen to his patients, is argumentative and borders on mean. He may be a good gastroenterologist but I'd stay as far away as you can. Atrium Health has some excellent GI providers. I've switched my care there. No time for this ass.

This is my 2nd experience with Dr. Jimoh. The first time I had a colonoscopy was 2 years ago. He stopped by when I was waking up from the anesthesia. He told me my results weren’t clean. He told me I had to know that they would not be; which I did not. It was disappointing to be accused of that when that was my first experience - especially when I completed all of the prep as directed. The issue was that I was chronically dehydrated; not that I did something wrong and knew before coming in that the procedure would be unsuccessful. I was referred by Dr. Freeman-Kwaku and she told me how great he would be. However, that interaction did not live up to my expectations. Because of that experience, it took me 2 years to work up the nerve to come back.

Dr Narang is a true Godsend! He is the best! Dr.Narang is so kind, Patient and understanding. He always explains everything for me. From the front desk to walking out the door, friendly, described every steps, discussed concerns, made this experience easier to deal with. The Prep Nurse was very nice & took time to explain, but the Dr & Nurses inside the procedure room did the same thing & the Dr. kept describing & addressing everything. Anesthesia guy was nice too, i couldn't use it due to an oversight in medication (so read every little word & compare your medication). Overall i recommend Dr. Colvin & his staff.

Not sure having an endoscopy followed by a colonoscopy qualifies as a ‘great experience’, but Dr.Cyzner and crew made it far less scary. It was very different procedurally than when it was done 13 years ago. My memory of it ends before they started and picks up again when they were done. They tell me I spoke to Dr.Cyzner afterward, but I have no memory of having seen him. I was terrified prior, because the prep I took last year was ineffective but brutal on my body, actually put me into a few hours of atrial fibrillation. This prep was much better tolerated. I would recommend Dr.Cyzner snd his staff, they are very efficient, understanding and friendly.
