Thadeus Dapash, DO, MS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist practicing at Carolina Digestive Health Associates. He sees patients at the offices in Matthews and Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Pineville and Charlotte Endoscopy Centers.
Dr. Dapash is passionate about patient care and takes pride in providing a team-oriented and collaborative approach to each patient. Patients receive high-quality, evidence-based evaluation and treatment of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. He prioritizes getting to know his patients and understanding their needs, concerns, and goals to effectively and efficiently treat and improve their quality of life by restoring the digestive system to its optimal health and function.
Dr. Dapash earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), where he served as class president and was awarded Student of the Year. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in Medical Education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a year of training in general surgery at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and completed his internal medicine training at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident for two years. Dr. Dapash also completed a prestigious gastroenterology fellowship with LECOM Health in Erie, where he served as chief fellow in his final year. Dr. Dapash is the co-author of several published research and review articles.
Prior to medical school, he earned a Certificate of Biomedical Sciences from VCOM and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Pennsylvania State University. In addition to his board certification in gastroenterology, Dr. Dapash is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When he’s not working, Dr. Dapash enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and working out.
