Carly Bowles, a graduate of Wingate University in undergraduate biology in 2016 and Master of Physician Assistant studies in 2018, is a current NCCPA board certified physician assistant working in gastroenterology.
She evaluates conditions such as GERD, abdominal pain, excess bloating/gas, and bowel movement changes while also providing ongoing care, if needed, to patients with liver conditions, IBS, IBD, or pancreatic concerns. While there are several diagnoses to consider, her goal is to identify and correct any triggers of a symptom. Specific interests include pelvic health, gut microbiome changes, and liver disease. In addition to her gastroenterology knowledge, she has 4 years of experience working in urology and often uses her previous experiences to identify a diagnosis and facilitate any referrals if needed.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading mysteries, spending time with her children, serving with her church, and finding new receipes to cook.
