About Dr. Lanre Jimoh, M.D., MBA


Lanre Jimoh, MD, MBA, is a dual board-certified internal medicine doctor and gastroenterologist practicing at Carolina Digestive Health Associates, PA with 13 locations in the greater Charlotte area including: Belmont, Concord, Davidson, Matthews, Monroe, Huntersville, University, and Pineville, North Carolina. He sees adult patients at several practice locations, including the Belmont office, Charlotte/Uptown office, Davidson/Lake Norman office, Carolina Digestive Endoscopy Center in Charlotte, Carolina Endoscopy Center in Huntersville, and Carolina Endoscopy Center in Pineville. 

 
Dr. Jimoh earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, North Carolina. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. He went on to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. 
 
Specializing in colon cancer screening and treating patients with acid reflux and Barrett’s esophagus, Dr. Jimoh also performs radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of Barrett’s esophagus with dysplasia. He treats patients with inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Jimoh is a leader in the non-surgical, in-office, and pain-free treatment of hemorrhoids and treats liver diseases, including hepatitis, fatty liver diseases, and cirrhosis. 
 
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Jimoh is multilingual, speaking fluent English and Yoruba, and is an intermediate-level Spanish speaker. 
 
When he’s not working, Dr. Jimoh enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer and golf, surfing, skiing, and traveling internationally.
